Job summary

ipracujzdalnie.pl is seeking an experienced Principal Go Engineer to join our team building a distributed data and analytics platform. You will own architecture, performance, reliability and the development of core components in a large production system.

The role involves mentoring engineers, leading multi-component initiatives, designing event-driven flows with Kafka, and collaborating with Architects, DevOps and product teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial Go experience.
• Experience in Staff/Principal/Tech Lead or Architect roles.
• Documented ownership of complex production systems.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing scalable backend services in Go for a distributed data platform.
• Building high-performance data ingest and processing pipelines.
• Defining service boundaries, data flows and communication methods between components.
• Leading complex initiatives spanning multiple components or teams and mentoring engineers.
• Collaborating with architects, DevOps, product teams and domain experts.
