Job summary

Pentoz is seeking an OsCommerce Developer to design, develop and maintain online stores using osCommerce. This is a fully remote position based in Poland, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable eCommerce solutions.

You will work with PHP, MySQL, and integrations (payment gateways, ERP/CRM). The role requires 2–4 years of hands-on osCommerce experience, Git workflows, and a focus on performance and security.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years hands-on osCommerce development experience.
• Understanding of osCommerce architecture and workflow.
• Experience with open-source eCommerce customization and module development.
• Comfortable with Git version control.
• Strong problem-solving skills with emphasis on performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Developing and customizing osCommerce-based eCommerce websites.
• Creating modules, extensions, and themes to meet business needs.
• Performing upgrades, migrations, and security enhancements for legacy stores.
• Integrating payment gateways, shipping APIs, and ERP/CRM systems.
• Writing clean PHP code and optimizing MySQL queries for performance.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues across the app.
• Collaborating with design and QA teams for high-performance UI.
• Maintaining technical documentation and post-deployment support.
