Job summary

Pentoz is seeking a Magento Developer for a remote role to build and optimize Magento-based websites for global brands. You will work on theme customization, module development, and third-party integrations to deliver fast, scalable, and customer-centric eCommerce experiences.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of Magento 2 development experience, knowledge of Magento architecture and EAV, and a track record of delivering high-performance stores.

Qualifications

2–5 years hands-on experience with Magento 2 development.
Understanding of Magento architecture, MVC patterns, and EAV model.
Experience with custom module and theme development.
Familiar with Git, Composer, and Magento CLI.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy Magento 2.x websites, extensions, and themes.
Customize back-end and front-end for speed, performance, and SEO.
Integrate Magento with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, shipping APIs, and third-party services.
Handle product catalog setup, database optimization, and migrations.
Apply patches, monitor performance, fix bugs, and maintain security.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and clients to implement solutions.
