Pentoz is seeking a skilled Big Cartel Developer to design, customize, and optimize online stores on the Big Cartel platform. This remote role focuses on delivering expressive, functional storefronts for independent creators and small brands.

You will collaborate with design and marketing teams, develop templates, ensure mobile responsiveness, SEO-ready markup, and help clients launch high-converting shops while managing multiple projects independently.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience with Big Cartel or similar lightweight eCommerce platforms.
• Experience with templating engines (Liquid or similar).
• Design-conscious with knowledge of responsive design and modern UI/UX practices.

Responsibilities

• Template development: build and maintain storefront templates and responsive layouts.
• Performance optimization: ensure fast loading times and SEO-friendly markup.
