Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company, is hiring a Junior Security Engineer to join the security team. This remote-first role focuses on protecting systems, applications, and cloud infrastructure while building practical information security skills.

You'll triage alerts, assess risks, perform vulnerability scans, and help automate security tasks using AI-powered tools in a global, cross-country environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of security engineering experience or equivalent.
• Experience handling alerts from security solutions.
• Hands-on with vulnerability analysis tools and Python scripting.
• Familiarity with major cloud platform security tools and IAM.
• Strong analytical skills and clear communication of security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Triage and respond to security alerts and incidents per standards.
• Assess IT and cloud security to identify risks.
• Support application security with assessments and scans.
• Perform vulnerability scans across network ranges and review results.
• Automate routine security tasks using AI-powered tools.
• Assist with security audits to ensure policy compliance.
• Help automate access reviews for efficiency and accuracy.
