Job summary

RTB House, a next-generation performance DSP, is seeking a Junior SOC Security Engineer. You will monitor IT infrastructure, triage alerts from SIEM/EDR, and escalate incidents following procedures.

You will analyze malware payloads, IoCs, and perform behavior analysis to detect anomalies, supporting AI-driven threat hunting with new detection rules. You will work in a team applying MITRE ATT&CK and NIST frameworks, with opportunities to grow skills in automation and scripting (Python/Bash).

Qualifications

• Experience in a SOC environment at an L1 level (min. 1 year).
• Fluency in English & Polish (min. B2).
• Threat analysis and incident response skills.
• Knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk Enterprise Security) and EDR/XDR solutions (SentinelOne).
• Knowledge of common network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTPS, DNS).
• Willingness to develop automation and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK & NIST frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents following established procedures.
• Verify alerts from SIEM/EDR/XDR systems.
• Support more experienced team members in developing tools or implementing security solutions.
• Escalate complex cases and assist SOC daily operations.
