Job summary

Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company operating as a remote-first team in Europe, is hiring contractors to join our global security operations group.

In this role, you'll triage security alerts, assess cloud infrastructure, and support application security with vulnerability scans and gap analyses.

You will work with AI-powered tools and collaborate with a mature security team to improve processes and protect data.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in security engineering.
• Experience handling alerts from security solutions (WAF, EDR, DLP, IPS/IDS, SIEM).
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform, including its security tools, IAM, and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset focused on identifying root causes of events.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain security concepts to technical teams.
• Intermediate+ English level.

Responsibilities

• Triage and respond to security alerts and incidents in line with established company standards and best practices.
• Assess the security of IT infrastructure and cloud environments to identify potential risks.
• Support application security through assessments, vulnerability scans, and gap analyses.
• Perform vulnerability scans across specified network ranges and review the results to identify potential issues.
• Automate routine security tasks and use AI-powered tools to boost efficiency.
• Assist with security audits to assess compliance with internal policies and best practices.
• Help automate access reviews to improve efficiency and accuracy.
