Job summary

RTB House is seeking a Junior SOC Security Engineer to monitor IT infrastructure, triage alerts from SIEM/EDR systems, and escalate incidents per procedures. You will analyze malware payloads, identify IoCs, and contribute to AI-driven threat hunting while documenting findings and suggesting improvements.

The role emphasizes working in a security-first environment with exposure to MITRE ATT&CK and NIST frameworks, and opportunities to grow in automation using Python/Bash.

Qualifications

• Experience in a SOC environment at an L1 level (minimum 1 year).
• Fluency in English and Polish (B2 level).
• Threat analysis and incident response skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Verify alerts from SIEM/EDR/XDR class systems.
• Support more experienced team members in developing current tools or implementing new security solutions.
• Escalate complex cases and support the SOC team in their daily operations.
