Job summary

FERCHAU GmbH in Poland is seeking a Primary Design Engineer (m/f/d) with HV substation design experience to join projects for transmission and distribution operators. Work mode: fully remote or hybrid (Warsaw, Kraków, Rzeszów, Olsztyn).

You will prepare primary design documentation, develop conceptual and detailed deliverables, select HV equipment, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HV substation design experience.
• Experience in projects delivered for transmission or distribution system operators.
• Knowledge of engineering standards applied in the power sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong organisational skills and Polish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of primary design documentation for high-voltage substations.
• Development of conceptual, building permit and detailed engineering deliverables.
• Selection of HV equipment and technical solutions.
• Verification of project requirements and technical input data.
• Coordination of engineering documentation within multidisciplinary teams.
• Technical cooperation with clients and project stakeholders.
• Compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.
