Job summary

FERCHAU GmbH in Poland is seeking a Primary Design Engineer (m/f/d) with HV substation design experience to join projects for transmission and distribution operators. Work mode: fully remote or hybrid (Warsaw, Kraków, Rzeszów, Olsztyn).

You will prepare primary design documentation, develop conceptual and detailed deliverables, select HV equipment, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HV substation design experience.
• Experience in projects delivered for transmission or distribution system operators.
• Knowledge of engineering standards applied in the power sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong organisational skills and Polish language proficiency.

The position offers participation in large-scale energy infrastructure investments, cooperation with experienced engineering teams and involvement in the development of the Polish power grid.

We are open to candidates at both Assistant Designer and Design Engineer level, provided they have experience in HV substation primary systems design.
