Job summary

intent sp. z o.o. is seeking a Head of People to own all people operations—from recruitment and HR to policy design and team development. You will manage three staff and ~50 hires per year.

This fully remote role reports to the CEO, requires Polish labor law knowledge, and a data-driven mindset. You’ll drive compensation systems, onboarding, vendor relationships, and ISO audits. Qualifications

• 5+ years in a senior HR/People role, with leadership experience.
• Hands-on recruitment experience at scale in tech/software services.
• Solid understanding of Polish labor law and contract types (B2B, UoP, UZ).
• Experience building HR systems from scratch: compensation frameworks, onboarding, policies.
• Commercial awareness: link hiring plans to revenue and CEO discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the People team: manage two recruiters and an office manager, conduct 1:1s, and develop skills.
• Own the full recruitment cycle: plan hiring in sync with the sales pipeline, target ~50 hires/year across roles.
• Design and optimize recruitment processes; train hiring managers; manage agency/outsource relationships.
• Run onboarding, workshadowing, and offboarding programs.
• Partner with team leads on quarterly performance reviews, competency matrices, and development plans.
• Advise C-level on hiring decisions, compensation structures, and org design.
• Own HR operations: contracts (B2B, UoP, UZ, NDAs), leave management, overtime calculations, invoice approvals, compensation reports.
• Build and maintain all people policies: leave, equipment, remote work, recruitment, bonuses, offboarding, benefits.
• Manage vendor relationships: Saltus (medical), legal counsel, payroll/accounting, training providers.
• Drive HR reporting: recruitment pipeline metrics, retention, headcount efficiency; translate data into recommendations.
• Lead initiatives: wellbeing programs, mentoring, feedback frameworks, strategic projects.
• Handle compliance: ISO 27001 audits, labor inspection requirements, access management across tools.
• Use AI tools as part of daily workflow.
