Job summary

SlashData is seeking a Growth Marketer and Community Builder to lead the expansion of the Developer Nation panel. You’ll focus on bringing in new developers, engaging them, and building a trusted premium panel used by clients like Microsoft and Google.

You’ll split time between acquisition and retention, acting as a public face in developer communities. A track record in growth marketing and four-to-five years’ experience is expected, with a Europe-based location in mind.

Qualifications

• Four to five years of relevant experience in growth/performance marketing.
• Owned a CPA or CAC target end to end, with clear decision points on spend.
• Analytical skills including attribution, funnel/cohort analysis, and unit economics; honest reporting of what didn’t work.
• Strong written communication skills in English.
• Based in Europe (any country).
• Comfortable initiating contact with people in public developer communities under the SlashData/Developer Nation brand.

Responsibilities

• Shape and lead the panel acquisition strategy, including budget development.
• Find audiences and communities that fit our survey topics.
• Search for and evaluate channels where panellists can be recruited: online communities, forums, social media groups, professional networks and paid media.
• Minimise acquisition cost per verified panellist while growing the panel.
• Plan, launch and optimise paid and organic acquisition campaigns.
• Conduct outreach to invite suitable individuals to join our survey panel.
• Run structured experiments and move on quickly from ineffective ones.
• Launch calls to existing panellists to answer surveys and address queries.
• Use AI tools to assist and automate wherever possible.
• Support onboarding of new panellists and maintain accurate participant records.
• Protect verification standards (LinkedIn/GitHub verification).
• Track and report performance of campaigns end to end.
• Monitor recruitment results and identify high-return channels.
