Job summary

Pentoz is seeking a Google Cloud Developer to architect and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions across our growing multi-sector ecosystem. This remote role is ideal for engineers who thrive in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

You will work with Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Firestore, and BigQuery to deliver resilient systems, with autonomy and opportunities to influence infrastructure strategy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Node.js in a cloud environment.
• Experience with serverless and containerized deployments (Cloud Run, GKE, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of GCP networking, IAM, monitoring (Stackdriver), and billing optimization.
• Familiarity with data processing tools (Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy cloud-native applications using GCP services such as Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Firestore, and BigQuery.
• Design microservices, APIs, and data pipelines optimized for scalability and performance.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Deployment Manager, or gcloud CLI.
• Integrate with CI/CD pipelines via Cloud Build and secure services with IAM, VPCs, and Cloud Armor.
• Collaborate across teams to align product goals with cloud strategy.
