Job summary

Pentoz is hiring a Kotlin Developer for a remote position. You’ll contribute to backend and mobile code, leveraging Kotlin, Ktor, and Android tooling to build scalable services across IT, staffing, hospitality, and SaaS domains.

Desirable experience includes CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud skills (AWS/GCP). You’ll work in a remote-first, product-driven environment with ownership of outcomes and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of experience building apps or APIs with Kotlin.
• Clean, tested, maintainable code with documentation.
• Experience in agile, remote-first, product-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Core Kotlin development for backend services or Android platforms.
• Designing RESTful APIs, microservices, or Android modules.
• Collaborating with designers, mobile engineers, and DevOps to ship products.
• Performance optimization focusing on quality, reliability, and scalability.
• Using Gradle, Kotlin tooling, and Jetpack Compose as needed.
• Keeping up with Kotlin trends and sharing knowledge.
