Job summary

HedgeServ is seeking a Fund Accounting Supervisor to lead a team of up to four Fund Accountants within the fund accounting department, ensuring timely NAV calculations and accurate reconciliations.

You will supervise cash, position, and market value reconciliations, pricing and corporate actions, and P&L reviews while developing and mentoring the NAV team and supporting audits. Flexible hybrid/remote/office options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance.
• 3+ years’ hedge fund administration experience.
• Pursuing ACCA/CIMA/CPA encouraged but not required.
• Strong English communication and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized with time-sensitive work.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership potential.
• Proficient with accounting systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Review cash, position and market value reconciliations.
• Identify break items on reconciliations.
• Review fund pricing and corporate actions.
• Review P&L reports for reasonableness.
• Review income and expense accruals and fee calculations.
• Escalate fund accounting issues as needed.
• Assist in audits and preparation of fund financial statements.
• Mentor and develop Fund Accountants.
• Ensure deadlines are met and respond to client queries.
