Job summary

HedgeServ is seeking a Fund Accounting Assistant Vice President to oversee NAV calculations and lead a team of up to 20 professionals in a client-focused Hedge Fund Administration environment. You will support strategic planning and manage relationships with clients and senior leaders to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance and extensive hedge fund experience, with ongoing professional qualification pursued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance
• 9 years’ experience in Hedge Fund Administration with at least 3 at Manager level
• Active pursuit of professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) considered an advantage

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of up to 20 employees servicing clients
• Manage client relationships and ensure consistency of service
• Review NAV calculations and improve workflows and procedures
• Contribute to audit readiness and preparation of fund financial statements
• Recruit, train and evaluate fund accounting staff
• Resolve complex client enquiries and participate in special projects
