Job summary

HedgeServ in Kraków seeks a Fund Accounting Assistant Manager to lead a team of up to seven and guide the NAV team. You will oversee reconciliations, pricing, corporate actions and P&L reviews to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Induction training plus compulsory AML/KYC and optional training will be provided. A bachelor’s degree in business/accounting/finance and 5+ years in hedge fund administration are required; strong English is essential.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance.
• 5+ years’ experience in a hedge fund administration firm.
• Intention to pursue ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ACA is advantageous but not required.
• IT literate with strong systems, product and process knowledge.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Quality control review of cash, position and market value reconciliations.
• Oversee timely resolution of aged items.
• Review fund pricing.
• Review corporate actions.
• Review profit and loss reports for reasonableness.
• Review income and expense accruals including fee calculations and trading accruals.
• Review fund trial balance.
• Review profit allocations to fund investors.
• Review compliance with HedgeServ checklists, procedures and controls.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve fund-related issues.
• Support Managers in addressing escalated fund accounting enquiries.
• Respond to client queries in a timely manner.
