Job summary

CloudLinux, a global remote-first company, seeks a Director of Corporate Development to lead inorganic growth through acquisitions, strategic alliances, and major partnerships. Reporting to the CFO, you will own origination, screening, financing coordination, and post-close integration planning, building models and frameworks to support decision-making.

You will manage a disciplined pipeline, evaluate target leadership and culture, and coordinate with FP&A, legal, and technology teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of combined experience across corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or advisory, including direct origination and negotiation.
• Experience designing and coordinating due diligence across financial, legal, and operational dimensions.
• Ability to build institutional-quality financial models (three-statement, valuation, scenarios).

Responsibilities

• Origination: build and maintain a target acquisition pipeline aligned to strategic priorities.
• Screening and evaluation: apply standardized scoring based on strategic fit and financial thresholds.
• Acquisition budgeting and financial planning: develop budgets for purchase and integration.
• Integration coordination: own the post-close plan and track synergies/costs.
• Strategic alliances and joint ventures: structure and evaluate non-acquisition partnerships.
• Long-Term strategy: contribute to 3–5 year growth blueprint with leadership.
• Capital formation: support debt/equity financing and investor materials.
• Corporate development function building: establish playbooks and scale the function.
