Job summary

Saphetor SA is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive market expansion in the CEE region for VarSome. You will lead end-to-end client engagement from pre-sales to post-sales, identifying growth opportunities while working in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.

The role requires a biotech background, strong English, and experience in clinical genomics. You will collaborate with product and marketing teams to shape strategy and communications for international customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quota-carrying sales or business development in NGS, bioinformatics or health-tech.
• BSc in life sciences, genetics, bioinformatics or a biotech business degree.
• Experience in clinical genomics with strong knowledge of NGS workflows.

Responsibilities

• Drive market expansion in the Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) region for NGS bioinformatics.
• Lead generation for VarSome Premium, VarSome Clinical and VarSome API.
• Manage client relationships to ensure successful product adoption.
• Collaborate with product and marketing to refine positioning and roadmap.
