Job summary

Covetrus is seeking a Vice President, Central Eastern Europe to lead our Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Romania operations, reporting to the President International.

You will drive regional strategy, oversee P&L, build high-performing teams, and partner with customers and manufacturing partners to accelerate growth.

This role demands strategic vision, strong leadership in a matrix organisation, and a collaborative, people-first approach.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility.
• Experience leading multi-country regional operations within a matrix organisation.
• Track record of driving commercial growth within a distribution, healthcare or adjacent sector.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
• Strong customer focus and experience building long-term commercial partnerships.
• Experience leading, developing and inspiring high-performing teams across multiple geographies.
• The confidence to challenge constructively whilst bringing people with you.
• A collaborative leadership style aligned to a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop a clear regional strategy for Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania, creating alignment across the region.
• Strengthen commercial performance through sustainable revenue and profit growth.
• Expand market share by nurturing customer and manufacturing partner relationships and exploring adjacent channels.
• Drive operational efficiency and organisational effectiveness across the region.
• Enhance employee engagement and leadership capability across the region.
