Job summary

Calan in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a Technical Contract Manager to steward maintenance contracts for Dragon 2 locomotives, ensure availability and reliability, and coordinate service delivery across an international, safety‑conscious environment.

You will manage contract and supplier relationships, support budgeting, and assist the sales team in expanding locomotive leasing, while upholding safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in railway vehicle maintenance or engineering.
• Strong background in contract and supplier management.
• Experience in an operational safety-critical environment.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage service delivery and technical operations efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers operating Dragon 2 locomotives.
• Oversee the full-service maintenance contract with Newag.
• Ensure locomotive availability, reliability, and performance.
• Manage technical issues and coordinate solutions.
• Support asset management functions, including budgeting and strategic planning.
• Assist the sales team in leasing locomotives to new customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
