Job summary

Calan in Warsaw is seeking an experienced Service/Maintenance Manager to optimize biogas plant service operations and performance from Poland. The role emphasizes planning, data-driven improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with technical, purchasing and logistics teams.

You will coordinate repairs, manage resources, and implement projects with a strong English requirement and a focus on efficiency and reliability at the installations.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in service and maintenance positions.
• Fluent knowledge of English.
• Team management and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work interdisciplinary and see a broader operational perspective.
• Independence in action and ability to implement projects.
• Knowledge of IT tools, including MS Office, and maintenance management systems.
• Higher technical education, preferred fields related to energy, mechanics or industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Planning, analysis and drawing conclusions related to service and maintenance based on production and technical data, aimed at optimizing the operation of biogas installations.
• Optimization of service and maintenance costs by coordinating repair and maintenance activities, especially on installations that do not generate a satisfactory operating margin.
• Managing orders for resources and materials necessary for service and maintenance, as well as conducting economic analyzes to optimize operating costs.
• Cooperation with technical, purchasing and logistics teams to ensure business continuity and effectiveness of service and maintenance processes.
• Monitoring service and maintenance performance metrics and reporting performance to management to identify areas of improvement.
