Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Services Projects Manager in Katowice to lead the Project Management team and oversee delivery on railway projects. You will conduct board and client meetings, monitor project performance, and drive governance and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

The role requires rail industry experience, strong leadership, and willingness to travel; Polish fluency and English at B1+ are expected, with MS Project and MS 365 experience regarded as advantages.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering or managing projects within the railway, rail infrastructure, rolling stock, or transportation sectors is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years of people management experience, including leading, coaching, and developing team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the Project Management team, including task delegation, project allocation and supervision on ongoing projects.
• Lead construction board meetings and client meetings, ensuring effective communication and alignment of project objectives.
• Conduct regular project reviews, monitor performance, and prepare status reports for senior management.
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage and continuously improve project governance processes, actively contributing to product and process change initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with project management standards, policies, and best practices across all projects.
