Job summary

TMF Group in Katowice, Poland is seeking a Senior RTR Specialist to join our finance and accounting function. You will handle R2R (GL) tasks and support timely, high-quality financial reporting in line with IFRS.

Responsibilities include month-end close activities, variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting rules. You will mentor teammates and help drive process improvements, including automation where possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar RTR/GL role.
• Proficient in English and Turkish (written and spoken).
• Solid knowledge of accounting rules and modern accounting practices.
• Experience with process documentation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure bookkeeping aligns with group accounting policies and IFRS.
• Perform R2R/GL activities and month-end close supporting timely reporting.
• Produce variance analyses and explain significant deviations.
• Review and reconcile accounts and ensure quality data for reports.
• Guide and develop team members and support internal/external audits.

Discover the Role

As a Senior RTR Specialist at TMF Group, you will play an important role in the finance and accounting function of the organization. You will be responsible for a variety of R2R (GL) tasks and will support the R2R process in delivering high ‑ quality services to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with regulatory standards. You will provide guidance to R2R team members and support the implementation of new systems. Tasks include tracking significant deviations and preparing variance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure bookkeeping complies with group accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure delivery of high ‑ quality financial data
• Review month ‑ end closing entries (e.g., fixed asset depreciation, prepaid expenses, accruals, IFRS adjustments)
• Perform accounts reviews and reconciliations
• Ensure an efficient period  end closing process
• Ensure compliance with IFRS
• Review monthly financial reports and ensure submission in accordance with group reporting deadlines
• Prepare monthly variance analysis and provide explanations for significant deviations
• Conduct continuous review of reports and identify opportunities for improvement
• Automate data preparation and report creation where possible
• Provide guidance to team members
• Develop and coach team members and provide supervision for selected activities
• Identify and resolve problems or unexpected events arising during work
• Support Supervisorby preparing ad-hoc reports
• Support Internal and External Audits

Key Requirements

• University/College degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Minimum 5 yearsof experience in a similar position
• Good command of English and Turkish (both verbal and written)
• Knowledge of accounting rules
• Good knowledge of modern accounting practices
• Experience with process documentation is an asset
