Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY POLAND SP. Z.O.O. in Łódź is seeking an experienced engineer for our R&D team focused on liquid-filled distribution transformers.

You will design, model, and validate CAD assets while collaborating with electrical, mechanical and testing experts to translate concepts into robust designs. You will develop prototypes, coordinate their verification with suppliers, and ensure on-time, on-quality project delivery.

Qualifications

• Engineering Master’s degree required.
• Experience with 3D CAD and Creo Parametric.
• Experience in manufacturing and supplier drawings.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs, models and drawings through CAD and Engineering system.
• Technical problems solving and design improvement.
• Preparation of prototypes for measurements and testing.
• Coordinate prototypes development and verification.
• Cooperation with internal and external suppliers.
• On-time and on-quality project tasks execution.
• Participation in tests and measurements.
• Parametrization of models, macros and scripts, low-code solutions.
• Handling bill of materials.
