Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY POLAND SP. Z.O.O. in Łódź is seeking an experienced engineer for our R&D team focused on liquid-filled distribution transformers.

You will design, model, and validate CAD assets while collaborating with electrical, mechanical and testing experts to translate concepts into robust designs. You will develop prototypes, coordinate their verification with suppliers, and ensure on-time, on-quality project delivery.

Qualifications

• Engineering Master’s degree required.
• Experience with 3D CAD and Creo Parametric.
• Experience in manufacturing and supplier drawings.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs, models and drawings through CAD and Engineering system.
• Technical problems solving and design improvement.
• Preparation of prototypes for measurements and testing.

Your Background

• Engineering title with master's degree, preferably in mechanical or product engineering or similar field
• Experience in 3D CAD systems usage, preferably Creo Parametric, CAD models parametrization
• Experience in manufacturing and supplier drawings preparation
• Basic understanding in ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Understanding standard body of knowledge in a technical field
• Ability to use external/internal standards and regulations
• Experience in product or/and machine construction and design
• Understanding of product manufacturing and testing processes
• Ability to make technical judgements in a field of expertise
• Understanding technical documentation and drawings
• Experience in writing scripts or/and low-code solutions
• Use of basic assembly tools and measurement equipment
• Good command of English
