Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Lodz, Poland is seeking a Junior R&D Electrical Engineer to join the Global Multi-physics Simulation Team. You will simulate circuit-level, electromagnetic, and multi-physics behavior for dry-type and liquid-filled transformers, and contribute to shift-left validation early in development.

The role involves developing automation tools, coupling models with structural and thermomechanical simulations, and supporting testing activities to ensure design integrity.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong theoretical foundation in circuit theory, electromagnetics, and transformer physics.

Responsibilities

• Perform circuit-level, electromagnetic, and multiphysics simulations of transformer performance.
• Develop and maintain automation tools and simulation workflows.
• Support design validation and FAT prediction through simulation.
