Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our global R&D team in Łódź. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings for transformer components and support the central repository with reusable parts.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure data quality and alignment with international standards, and help factories implement standardized components in a scalable PLM workflow. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in PTC Creo for 3D modeling.
• Familiarity with PLM systems such as PTC Windchill.

Responsibilities

• Design and create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for standard transformer accessories and components.
• Ensure models meet engineering standards and are compatible with PLM systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define and maintain specifications for reusable parts.
• Assist factories in implementing standardized components and accessories.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to verify data quality and alignment with global standards.
