Job summary

ALTEN Polska seeks an experienced Quality Assurance professional to strengthen compliance with aerospace standards, lead internal audits, and support customer and regulatory audits across engineering and manufacturing.

You will develop metrics, drive CAPA, mentor teams, and progress toward Deputy Head of Quality, with opportunities to relocate between branches within ALTEN Polska and contribute to a multinational engineering leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Compliance, or Quality Management in aerospace or other highly regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 19011, Auditing Guidelines, EASA Part 21, aerospace regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience in planning and conducting internal audits.
• Auditor/Lead Auditor qualification (AS9100 and/or ISO 9101) is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting customer, certification body, and regulatory authority audits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with aerospace regulations and industry standards.
• Plan, conduct, and report internal audits.
• Support audits by customers, certification bodies, regulatory authorities, and suppliers.
• Monitor compliance with aerospace regulations, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
• Lead root cause investigations, non-conformance management, and CAPA processes.
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering and operations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Program teams on quality matters.
• Prepare for external regulatory and customer reviews.
• Develop and maintain quality metrics, reports, and dashboards.
• Provide guidance on quality requirements, standards, and best practices.
• Contribute to quality governance with path toward Deputy Head of Quality.

• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with aerospace regulations and industry standards.
• Perform independent system monitoring activities, including planning, conducting, and reporting internal audits.
• Support customer, certification body, regulatory authority, and supplier audits.
• Monitor compliance with applicable aerospace regulations, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
• Lead root cause investigations, non-conformance management, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and operational functions.
• Assess process effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve quality, compliance, and operational performance.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program teams on quality-related matters.
• Support preparation for external regulatory and customer reviews.
• Develop and maintain quality metrics, reports, and compliance dashboards.
• Provide guidance and coaching on quality requirements, standards, and best practices.
• Serve as a key contributor to quality governance activities with a long-term succession path toward the Deputy Head of Quality role.
• Progressively assume responsibilities related to audit program management, compliance oversight, and quality leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Compliance, or Quality Management within the aerospace or other highly regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of: AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 19011, Auditing Guidelines, EASA Part 21, Aerospace regulatory and compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience in planning and conducting internal audits.
• Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification (AS9100 and/or ISO 9101) is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting customer, certification body, and regulatory authority audits.
• Knowledge of Independent System Monitoring principles and quality surveillance activities.
• Experience with: Non-conformance management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Risk Management, Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, APQP, SPC, or similar quality tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Demonstrated leadership potential and willingness to develop toward a future Deputy Head of Quality position.
• Ability to obtain or expand authorization for Independent System Monitoring, auditing, and compliance oversight activities within the first months of employment.
