Job summary

SHEIN is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to strengthen performance measurement and quality assurance across warehousing operations. You will define how performance is measured, identify root causes of gaps, and drive improvements through to implementation and audit.

You will publish inspection standards, monitor targets, perform root cause analyses, and develop top-down warehousing standards to ensure quality and efficiency across the operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Experience in warehouse management, quality inspection, or quality control.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to use office software for statistics and reporting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently handle quality control issues.
• Proficiency in SQL with Hive/Presto and data report design.
• Data visualization skills using Excel and Tableau.
• Knowledge of event tracking and A/B testing and practical application.
• Proficiency in Python or R (SPSS also acceptable) with project experience.

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist to strengthen performance measurement and quality assurance across our warehousing operations. This role sits between operations and data: defining how warehouse performance is measured, identifying the root causes behind operational gaps, and driving improvement measures through to implementation and audit.

Responsibilities

• Own the formulation and publication of warehouse operation results and assessment frameworks, primarily to measure warehouse operational outcomes.


• Monitor warehouse performance against operational targets, conduct root cause analysis, coordinate with warehouse teams to define improvement measures, and provide support and audit for their implementation.


• Develop management and operational standards for warehousing from a top-down perspective, with a focus on management requirements.


• Establish daily quality control inspection standards and execute inspections to support process monitoring, evaluate operational results, and provide early warning of operational risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above.


• Relevant work experience, typically in warehouse management, quality inspection, or quality control.


• Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to use office software for statistics and reporting.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.


• Detail-oriented and patient, with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.


• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently handle quality control related issues.


• Proficiency in SQL code logic such as Hive and Presto, and proficiency in data report design and development.


• Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Excel and Tableau.


• Proficiency in the principles of event tracking and A/B testing, and their practical application.


• Proficiency in one of SPSS, R, or Python, with relevant project experience.
