Job summary

intent is seeking an experienced QA Lead to own QA across mobile and IoT projects. You will design testing strategies, mentor a testers chapter, and push QA maturity via modern tooling and AI-driven approaches. You’ll report to the CTO on QA direction and collaborate with US clients.

This permanent, fully remote role offers a B2B contract with monthly salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including a development budget and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software testing, ideally mobile and IoT.
• 2+ years leading a QA team with real ownership of testing processes.
• Hands-on with test case management and Atlassian stack (Jira/Confluence).
• Strong manual and automated testing experience: Cypress, Appium, Postman, Robot Framework.
• Solid knowledge of BLE, API testing, and cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase).

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute QA strategies for IoT and mobile products.
• Lead and mentor the QA team; guide test design and knowledge sharing.
• Introduce modern QA tools and automate with CI/CD integration.
• Define and track quality metrics; continuously improve testing efficiency.
• Collaborate with CTO, developers, PMs, and clients on acceptance criteria.
• Oversee the full range of testing: functional, integration, E2E, performance, security, regression.
• Manage end-to-end QA from raw BLE signals to cloud data validation.
• Leverage AI tools as part of daily workflow.
