CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a QA Engineering Manager to build and lead our QA Enginering function. Initial focus on Witcher 4 with long-term goals across CP2, Sirius and future titles. You will own automation frameworks, tools and CI/CD integrations, collaborating closely with Engineering and DevOps to ship stable, testable builds.

Your mission includes shaping QA strategy, mentoring engineers, defining metrics and driving cross-project reuse of QA solutions in a studio-wide effort.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in games or software in a similar role (Engineering Lead/Manager, Tech Lead/Manager, Senior/Principal Engineer).
• Strong engineering background with ability to understand and review code, designs and architecture decisions.
• Experience developing or overseeing automated test frameworks, ideally for engine-based projects (Unreal Engine a strong plus).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build farms, automated deployments and integrating automated tests into development workflows.
• Experience writing scripts/tools (Python, TypeScript, C#) for automation or process improvements.
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience, supporting senior technical staff and team growth.
• Experience setting up or improving QA Engineering processes for cross-functional or Agile teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across Engineering, QA, DevOps and Production.

Responsabilités

• Build and lead the QA Engineering team with a focus on Witcher 4 and cross-project QA services.
• Shape QA Engineering strategy to support current needs and cross-project capabilities across the studio.
• Oversee design, development and maintenance of automation frameworks, tools and diagnostics for QA and development teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps and Production to integrate testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish and monitor QA metrics and drive continuous improvement based on data.
• Identify tooling and process improvements to enhance testability and observability across projects.
• Manage risks and dependencies related to QA Engineering work and mitigation plans.
• Provide mentorship and career development for QA Engineers.
