Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to help build and scale automation frameworks and testing infrastructure across Unreal Engine projects. You will join the QA Engineering team within Shared Development Services, focusing on quality, testability, and development workflows through automation and reusable tooling.

Initially supporting Witcher 4, the role offers long‑term cross‑project QA engineering solutions and hands‑on work building automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and validation

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in QA Engineering, test automation, or software testing, preferably in gaming.
• C++ experience, especially within Unreal Engine environments.
• Knowledge of automated testing, tooling, and testing infrastructure in Unreal Engine environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and testing solutions.
• Strong ability to analyze, debug, and troubleshoot complex technical issues across systems and environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across multiple disciplines and teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering, Tech Art, Art, QA, DevOps, and SDS to support integration and deployment of automated testing solutions and testing environments.
• Design, develop, maintain, and extend automated test frameworks and testing infrastructure for Unreal Engine systems and reusable gameplay modules.
• Support migration, integration, and validation of shared automation solutions across projects and environments.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve technical issues related to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and build infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to high engineering standards across QA automation codebases.
• Work with development teams to improve testability, reliability, and long-term maintainability of shared systems.
• Proactively monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid identification and resolution of build and test failures.
