Qualifications

• Experience in one of the following fields: Electronics Technician; Electrician; Electronics Technician for Building System Integration; Plant Mechanic for Sanitary, Heating, and Air Conditioning Technology; Information Electronics Technician; Radio and Television Technician, Mechatronics Technician.
• Basics of electrical engineering: Ohm's law, DC, AC, circuits, components.
• PV/Solar technology and systems: inverters, modules, monitoring & control, storage; e-mobility systems and standards.
• Basic knowledge of mathematics: arithmetic, units, multiples, signs.
• Knowledge of IT systems and programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Teams.
• Salesforce Service CRM & Master Data Record Keeping is a bonus.
• Customer focus and service-oriented attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate on the phone and online with customers and take detailed notes.
• Ability to analyze and solve technical problems and to identify root causes.
• Ability to work under time pressure and stress.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the technical after-sales support of the SMA Service Line and uses communication and troubleshooting skills to support SMA customers (PV installers/professionals).
• Provides technical support on SMA products and customer groups.
• Follows troubleshooting guides and determines resolution or escalation paths.
• Complies with work regulations and company policies.
• Carries out supervisor instructions within the defined work scope.
