Job summary

Raffles Europejski Warsaw invites you to join our luxury hotel team as Purchasing Manager. You will lead the Purchasing and Storeroom Department, manage vendor contracts, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely orders aligned with budget.

You will maintain price databases, collaborate with all departments for accurate specifications, research new products, support capital expenditures, and advance sustainable purchasing practices while upholding our standards of service.

Qualifications

Previous management experience in hotel purchasing is preferred.
Strong administrative, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt with flexibility.

Responsibilities

Manage and ensure the efficient operation of the Purchasing and Storeroom Department in all aspects.
Regularly review all purchase contracts and bid proposals from vendors to ensure competitive pricing and budget compliance.
Negotiate prices, place daily orders based on requirements, and ensure prompt delivery as requested.
Ensure Purchase Orders are properly completed and in accordance with policies before purchases are made.
Monitor vendors for quality, service, and price through standard purchasing specifications.
Cooperate with all departments to ensure product specifications are consistent and accurate.
Ensure sufficient operating supplies are in stock, and coordinate orders with each department.
Maintain an up-to-date summary of current prices on food, beverages, and inventory stock.
Research new products and services for the hotel.
Assist with Operating Capital Expenditures.
Support the company in implementing sustainable hospitality practices in purchasing.
Interact professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors.
Follow purchasing policies and procedures in accordance with hotel policies.
Develop a working knowledge of all internal procedures and governmental regulations in purchasing.
