Job summary

Raffles Europejski Warsaw invites you to join our luxury hospitality team as Purchasing Manager. Lead the purchasing and storeroom operations with budget discipline, contracts review, and supplier negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and quality.

You will collaborate with all hotel departments, manage PO processes, monitor supplier performance, and support sustainable procurement practices while upholding our standards of service and excellence.

Qualifications

Experience in hotel purchasing is preferred.
Strong administrative, problem-solving, and organizational skills expected.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and ensure the efficient operation of the Purchasing and Storeroom Department in all aspects.
Regularly review all purchase contracts and bid proposals from vendors to ensure competitive pricing for all operating areas of the hotel and compliance with budget limitations.
Negotiate prices, place daily orders based on requirements, and ensure prompt delivery as requested.
Ensure that Purchase Orders are properly completed and in accordance with policies before purchases are made.
Monitor vendors for quality, service, and price through standard purchasing specifications.
Cooperate with all departments to ensure that product specifications are consistent and accurate.
Ensure that sufficient operating supplies are in stock, and coordinate orders with each department.
Maintain an up-to-date summary of current prices on food, beverages, and inventory stock.
Research new products and services for the hotel.
Assist with Operating Capital Expenditures.
Support the company in implementing and developing sustainable hospitality practices in the purchasing area.
Interact professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors.
Follow purchasing policies and procedures in accordance with hotel policies.
Develop a working knowledge of all internal procedures and governmental regulations in the area of purchasing.

Previous management experience in Hotel Purchasing is preferred.
Strong administrative, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to changes with flexibility, timeliness, and efficiency.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills; excels in a fast-paced, challenging, and team-oriented environment.
Solid knowledge of purchasing procedures.
