Job summary

FairWind in Szczecin is seeking a Project Manager who takes full accountability for delivering wind energy service and Major Component Exchange projects, on site and remotely where needed, with a clear owner mindset and a focus on results.

You will drive delivery from planning through close-out, manage scope, schedule, and budget, coordinate site teams and subcontractors, maintain transparent financial reporting, and uphold HSE and quality standards in an international project environment.

Location: Szczecin/remote in Poland or Romania

Running Onshore and Offshore Service and Major Component Exchange (MCE) projects is not about maintaining plans in Excel. It’s about making things happen on site, taking ownership, and delivering results in a demanding operational environment.

We are looking for a Project Manager who takes full accountability, understands how projects actually run in the field, and is comfortable being responsible for both execution and results, including financial outcomes.

This role is about delivery, ownership and accountability, not just coordination.

The role starts in Q1 2027. The conversation starts now.

We know that the best Project Managers are rarely available overnight. That’s why we’re starting the recruitment process early, giving both sides time to get to know each other, discuss future opportunities, and ensure the right match before the planned start date in Q1 2027.

Proven experience in project management within wind energy, preferably in Service, Major Component Exchange (MCE), offshore operations or related technical field services.

Strong execution mindset. You understand how projects run on site, not only on paper.

High level of accountability and ownership for results and decisions.

• Solid understanding of:

  • budgeting,

  cost control.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in an international environment.

Strong communication skills with a structured and solution-oriented approach.

Ability to stay in control and make decisions in challenging situations.

Client-focused mindset and ability to build trust quickly.

Very good English. Additional European languages are considered an advantage.

Willingness to travel and be present where the project is.

Your Role

Take full accountability for project delivery, from planning through execution to final close-out.

Ensure projects are delivered in line with scope, timeline, budget and quality standards.

Maintain full visibility and ownership of project financials, including:

• monthly financial reporting,
• invoicing,
• work-in-progress (WIP),
• accounts receivable and follow-ups.
Act as the main point of contact for clients and ensure structured, transparent communication.

Work closely with site teams, operations, engineering and subcontractors to drive execution.

Proactively manage risks, changes, delays and commercial topics.

Ensure handover quality, documentation and project closure standards are met.

Drive problem-solving on a daily basis and take ownership when things do not go as planned.

Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards throughout project execution.
