Job summary

Seaonics AS in Poland is seeking an experienced project manager to lead aftermarket projects from handover to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality, and schedule. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Procurement, Service, and Spare Parts, manage changes, and maintain strong customer relationships while adhering to SEAONICS procedures and HSE standards.

Fluency in English and Polish is required, and expertise with ERP and MS Office is essential for

• Fluent English and Polish (B2).
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage aftermarket projects from handover to completion within scope, budget, quality, and schedule.
• Develop and communicate project plans for upgrades and modifications, monitoring costs, risks, and opportunities with corrective actions.
• Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Procurement, Service, Spare Parts) for timely resources and documentation.
• Ensure smooth handover from Aftersales with clear contractual, technical, commercial requirements.
• Manage changes, variations, and scope with contract administration and commercial follow-up.
• Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships through proactive communication.
• Ensure compliance with SEAONICS procedures, HSE standards, and drive continuous improvement.

Duties

• Manage aftermarket projects from handover through completion, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, budget, quality, and schedule requirements
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project plans for upgrades, retrofits, modifications, and other customer-specific deliveries, while monitoring progress, costs, risks, and opportunities and implementing corrective actions as required
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including Engineering, Procurement, Service, and Spare Parts, to ensure timely availability of resources, materials, and documentation and successful project execution
• Ensure a smooth handover from Aftersales, maintaining a clear understanding of contractual, technical, commercial, and customer requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage project changes, variations, and additional scope, ensuring proper documentation, contract administration, and commercial follow-up with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships through proactive communication, effective stakeholder management, and timely resolution of project-related matters
• Ensure compliance with SEAONICS procedures, HSE standards, and ethical guidelines, while driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across projects

Required skills

• Experience or background in aftermarket, service, upgrade, retrofit, or modification projects
• Experience within the maritime or offshore industry
• Solid understanding of industrial components
• English and Polish language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
• Proficient in ERP systems as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint
• Strong organizational skills and ability to make fast, informed decisions under pressure
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution
