Job summary

Amentum is expanding its Integrated Delivery Services team in Kraków with a Project Controls Specialist. You will support project managers by controlling costs, forecasting budgets, and maintaining financial documentation to ensure accurate reporting across projects.

The role emphasizes data analysis, dashboard creation (Power BI), and collaboration with Finance, Engineering, and other internal partners to drive transparent cost management and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in project controls, cost control, project coordination, finance, or similar roles.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). Power BI is an asset.
• English level B2 or higher; Polish is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Experience with project management systems, cost tools, or ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update weekly, monthly, and ad‑hoc project reports for Project Managers and senior leadership.
• Support the development and maintenance of project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Track project costs against approved budgets and identify variances using standard procedures.
• Assist Project Managers with change control, including documentation, tracking, and financial impact assessment.
• Set up new projects in corporate systems, ensuring compliance with internal governance and approvals.
• Support the preparation of cash flow projections and monitor spending trends.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of project dashboards and visual reports (e.g. Power BI).
• Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and risks in cost and forecast data.
