Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Finance/Project Controls professional in Kraków to manage project budgets, forecasts and financial reporting across multiple international projects. You will partner with Project Managers and finance teams to ensure profitability and cash flow, delivering dashboards and analyses to stakeholders.

The role requires strong analytical skills, Excel, and experience with Power BI and ERP systems. Hybrid work and international collaboration are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in a project-based environment and financial analysis preferred.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and financial reporting.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with numerical data.
• Experience with Power BI, ERP systems, or project management tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets for new and ongoing projects.
• Prepare and maintain accurate cost forecasts, including Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Monitor project costs, financial performance, profitability, and key project metrics.
• Identify and report project risks, cost variances, and emerging trends.
• Review project documentation and contracts for compliance and support operational compliance.
• Support change management and assess the financial impact of project changes.
• Prepare project reports, dashboards, and financial analyses for stakeholders.
• Support client invoicing, payment applications, and cash flow monitoring.
• Develop and maintain client billing rates for Time & Material projects.
• Assist with subcontractor cost management and reconciliations.
• Contribute to project performance reviews by providing financial insights.
• Support project close-out activities and lessons learned.
• Provide financial insights and business partnering support to PMs and other stakeholders.
