RELEX Solutions is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer for our Merchandising business in Europe. You will join the central engineering team and work directly with customers to deliver production-grade software and live models in customer environments.

You will own technical delivery, instrument deployments, and present evidence to operations and executives. Expect on-site work with travel and a fast-growing, global software company with a strong focus on value and impact.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and building software across the full stack, in production environments.
• Strong understanding of system design, observability, and hypothesis-driven development.
• Experience building integrations for downstream or customer-facing systems.
• Solid working knowledge of cloud platforms and modern application stacks.
• Strong business acumen: translate technical work into measurable impact.
• Comfortable managing ambiguity and taking full ownership of outcomes.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site at customer locations.
• Comfortable using AI in daily work and fostering AI tool adoption.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery end to end, from discovery through go-live: configuration, extensions, integrations.
• Prove value by instrumenting deployments and measuring outcomes against baselines.
• Own the technical customer relationship and understand their operations deeply.
• Feed the product by capturing field gaps and turn use cases into roadmaps.
• Build customer self-sufficiency through knowledge transfer and clean handovers.
• Grow the account by surfacing adjacent use cases and shaping the technical solution.
• Support commercial activity with feasibility assessments and technical demos.
