Job summary

Tenarai Europe is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, deploy, and operate production AI systems in real customer environments. You will translate customer problems into robust architectures and ensure measurable impact through deployment.

You will lead end-to-end delivery, architect scalable solutions, and review AI-generated code for safety and quality, while collaborating with executives and technical teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering, architecture, or technical delivery at Senior level with production systems shipping.
• Customer-embedded delivery in enterprise environments.
• Backend and integration engineering with REST/GraphQL, Python and Node.js.
• LLM APIs, RAG, tool calling, orchestration, evaluation gates.
• AI-native code-review fluency.
• Production discipline: CI/CD, environments, containerization, logging, migrations, incident response.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• OWASP fluency and secure handling of secrets, PII boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production AI systems in real customer environments.
• Engineer reliable end-to-end agentic workflows with monitoring and cost controls.
• Review and refine AI-generated code for robustness and safety.
• Lead delivery from discovery through rollout and operational readiness.
• Explain architecture, risks, and constraints to executives and stakeholders.
