Job summary

Softeta is seeking a Product Owner for a banking-sector client. The Product Owner acts as the key link between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood, properly planned, and successfully delivered.

You will translate business ideas into clear, actionable requirements and work closely with technical teams in an Agile environment. Fluent English and strong collaboration with developers are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner working with software development teams.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and backlog management.
• Ability to translate high-level business ideas into clear, actionable requirements and tasks.
• Ability to understand and communicate complex product requirements to technical teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Ownership mindset — take responsibility for a feature from idea through delivery.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work effectively with developers and other technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English.

We are seeking for a Product Owner for our client from the banking sector. The Product Owner acts as the key link between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood, properly planned, and successfully delivered.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably working closely with software development teams
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Hands‑on experience with Jira and experience creating and managing well‑structured backlogs
• Strong ability to translate high‑level business ideas into clear, actionable requirements and development tasks
• Ability to understand and communicate complex product requirements to technical teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
• Ability to facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies
