Job Description
Your responsibilities:
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned enterprise applications.
- Establish and develop Product Ownership practices within the IT organization.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, stakeholder needs, and strategic objectives.
- Translate business requirements into clear product goals and actionable development priorities.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, IT teams, developers, architects, and security specialists.
- Support agile ways of working and actively contribute to Scrum-based delivery processes.
- Ensure alignment between business processes, technology capabilities, and product development.
- Drive continuous improvement of products, processes, and collaboration models.
- Support user acceptance testing and ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
- Identify opportunities to improve product team capabilities, processes, and ways of working.
The Successful Applicant
What we're looking for
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of agile product management principles and practical experience applying them.
- Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with practical execution.
- Experience working closely with business departments and IT delivery teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with enterprise applications or digital transformation initiatives.
- Understanding of business processes in areas such as procurement, order management, finance, or supply chain is highly beneficial.
- Experience with SAP environments is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or other complex business environments is highly valued.
- Fluent English.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with Procure-to-Pay or Order-to-Cash processes.
- Experience building product teams or introducing product-oriented ways of working.
- Background in business transformation, IT consulting, or enterprise application management.
