Job description

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our team for the project, which focuses on implementing a modernized Point of Sales (POS) system across sites of global retailer. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Business Owners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that your teams deliver the right solutions at the right time. This role offers a hybrid work environment based in Warsaw, where you will play a crucial part in driving digitalization projects that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

This role requires hybrid work 2 days a week in the Warsaw office.

Your tasks

• Working with Product Managers and Business Stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities
• Driving discussions about expectations and requirements within the Scrum framework
• Ensuring that teams are building the right solutions at the right time
• Understanding the domain and providing clear requirements to the team
• Gathering requirements and developing necessary models, documents, and specifications for delivery
• Proactively managing the team backlog in terms of priority and scope
• Building strong cooperation with other development teams

Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT experience, including 2 years as a Product Owner/Manager
• Strong experience in Business analysis
• Deep understanding of the Product Owner role and responsibilities as outlined in the Scrum Guide
• Proven track record of leading international digitalization projects with high complexity and attention from top management
• Business acumen and analytical mindset, with a keen interest in technology and previous product management experience
• Customer focus and experience in agile projects with dependencies on legacy systems
• Hands-on knowledge of JIRA and Confluence, along with the Software Development Life Cycle
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and planning skills, complemented by critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Advanced level of both English and Polish

Nice to have

• Experience with SAFe methodology
