We are looking for a Senior Product Owner who will help our customer to maximize product value delivered by a cross-functional development team. Acting as the main link between business stakeholders (Project Manager on client side mainly) and the delivery team, translate business needs into well defined stories and a backlog, ensuring solutions align with customer needs, business objectives, and quality standards within an Agile environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within a Scrum environment
- Proven track record of delivering complex IT/software products and projects
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the full product development lifecycle
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams
- Ability to balance business priorities, technical constraints, and user needs
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision‑making abilities
- Experience creating high‑quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation
- Ability to estimate work, manage sprint scope, and track delivery progress
- Hands‑on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar tools
- Experience with product roadmapping and backlog management
- Familiarity with UX principles
- Understanding of API‑based systems and integrations
- Data‑driven mindset and experience using KPIs to drive product decisions
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of transparency
Nice to have:
- Experience in Climate Tech, Industrial Technology, or Energy domains
Main responsibilities:
- Understand, communicate, and support the client's product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Gather, analyze, and validate business and stakeholder requirements
- Translate business needs into well‑defined user stories and acceptance criteria
- Own, prioritize, and continuously refine the product backlog together with the client
- Ensure backlog items are clear, complete, and ready for development
- Make decisions regarding scope, priorities, and trade‑offs
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, development teams, UX/UI, QA, Scrum Masters, and Project Managers
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and product demonstrations
- Monitor sprint progress and proactively communicate risks, delays, and mitigation plans
- Review completed work and accept or reject deliverables based on agreed acceptance criteria
- Ensure delivered features meet business objectives, user needs, and quality standards
- Manage dependencies and mitigate delivery risks
- Support release planning and go‑to‑market activities when required
- Drive product improvements through data analysis, user feedback, and KPIs
- Promote continuous improvement across teams, processes, and workflows
Salary 134 - 170 PLN hourly
