Job summary

IDEMIA in Łódź, Poland is seeking a Product Owner to understand customer requirements for connectivity solutions, including eSIM profiles and Remote Subscription Platform, driving detailed specs with the BUILD organization outside Europe.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, owning backlog, risk analysis, and delivering high-complexity products while mentoring others, with a hybrid work model in Łódź.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in Telecommunications or professional services with Product Manager/Product Owner experience in eSIM profiles.
• Experience in security solutions and SIM card management is desired.
• Proven RSP tender participation for MNOs.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills; attention to detail.
• Experience interfacing with cross-functional teams including development, sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and documents project requirements by connecting with stakeholders
• Defines and updates the project backlog, including acceptance criteria
• Leads the project progress against scope, timeline, budgets, quality standards and regulatory constraints
• Conducts risk analysis and monitors mitigation plans
• Provides vision and direction to stakeholders including technical teams and customers
• Proposes ways to optimize deliveries
• Ensures communication and reporting to stakeholders
• Owns quality, cost and timeline of the full project
• Supports business teams in offers, demonstrations and product presentations
• Elaborates and executes development plans for high complexity products
• Negotiates with stakeholders in total autonomy
• Mentors less experienced Product Owner
• Acts as at least Principal Engineer within the TEN

Job description

The position is responsible for understanding and analyzing customer requirements and use cases for connectivity solution such as Remote Subscription Platform (RSP) solutions for the conusmer ecosystem, and for defining the requirements for such solutions. This position requires working closely with the BUILD organization located outside Europe to drive the more detailed specifications and the development of the connectivity solutions. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technically defining and influencing the evolution of our solutions.

Key Missions

• Analyzes and documents project requirements by connecting with stakeholders
• Defines and updates the project backlog, including acceptance criteria to ensure requirement coverage and traceability
• Leads the progress of the project against scope, timeline, budgets, quality standards and regulatory constraints
• Conducts risk analysis and monitors the mitigation plan
• Provides vision and direction to all stakeholders including technical teams and internal or external customers and partners
• Proposes proactively ways of optimizing deliveries
• Ensures proper communication and reporting to all stakeholders
• Owns the quality, cost and timeline of the full project
• Supports business teams as needed in offers’ preparation, demonstrations, products presentations, etc.
• Elaborates, manages and executes development plan of high complexity products (determined by number of components, use cases, interfaces, dependencies, customers and by the product lifecycle stage)
• Negotiates and convinces stakeholders in total autonomy
• Mentors less experienced Product Owner
• Acts as at least Principal Engineer within the TEN

Profile & Other Information

• At least 5 years’ experience in the Telecommunications industry or in professional services organization with experience as Product Manager / Product Owner ideally for the eSIM profiles definition.
• Demonstrated experience in security solutions and in managing SIM cards is desired.
• Proven RSP tender participation for MNOs.
• Strong problem solving skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to details
• Must have experience in successfully working with cross-functional teams that include development, sales and marketing staff
• Ability to effectively interface with customers and work independently in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment, and flexibility to adapt to a changing environment
• BS in Computer Science or related technical degree
• Fluent in English (excellent verbal and written skills), other languages a plus
