Job summary

EPC Network, a digital marketing platform, is seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner to lead the in-house SMS platform. You’ll own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, collaborating with engineering to turn business needs into scalable solutions.

You’ll gather requirements from diverse stakeholders, manage integrations with multiple providers, and shape automation, analytics, and delivery rules. The role is hybrid in Warsaw, with growth opportunities in a fast-paced international

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Owner/Product Manager or similar role, ideally with a technical B2B or internal platform.
• Experience building products with multiple third‑party integrations, external services, APIs, and complex data flows.
• Strong technical product understanding and ability to communicate with engineers without coding.
• Ability to gather requirements from multiple stakeholders and translate into actionable specs.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and priorities for the SMS platform.
• Translate business requirements into clear product requirements for engineering.
• Drive development from current stage through releases and internal adoption.
• Design and evolve a platform that connects multiple providers with different APIs and pricing models.
• Define integration requirements, data flows, automation, and traffic distribution.
• Build contact management and compliance into the platform (consent, opt-outs, suppression rules).
• Develop campaign automation and delivery rules, segmentation, and scheduling.
• Define analytics and reporting across delivery, provider performance, costs, conversions, and other metrics.
• Work closely with engineering to clarify requirements and trade-offs; keep development moving.

As aTechnical Product Owner, you’ll take ownership of our in-house SMS platform, which is already in development. We’re building one centralized product that connects multiple SMS providers and allows our teams to manage campaigns, automate traffic distribution, and track performance. You’ll shape its further development, bring together business and technical requirements, and work closely with engineering to turn them into a scalable product.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and priorities for the SMS platform.
• Gather requirements from business, operations, analytics, and other internal teams and translate them into clear product requirements for engineering.
• Take ownership of the existing product and drive its development from the current stage through further releases and internal adoption.
• Design and evolve a platform that connects multiple third‑party providers with different APIs, capabilities, pricing models, and limitations.
• Define requirements for integrations, data flows, automation, provider selection, traffic distribution, and monitoring.
• Build contact management and compliance into the platform, including consent, opt‑outs, suppression rules, and messaging requirements.
• Develop campaign automation and traffic distribution logic, including segmentation, scheduling, prioritization, and delivery rules.
• Define analytics and reporting across delivery, traffic, provider performance, costs, conversions, and other key product metrics.
• Work closely with engineering to clarify requirements, make product and technical trade-offs, and keep development moving efficiently.
• Continuously research unfamiliar areas, gather the full context, and turn complex business needs into clear solutions and actionable tasks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Owner / Product Manager or similar product roles, ideally with ownership of a technical B2B or internal platform.
• Experience building or developing products with multiple third‑party integrations, external services, APIs, and complex data flows.
• Strong technical product understanding and ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams without being a developer yourself.
• Ability to gather requirements from multiple stakeholders, structure complex information, define a clear product vision, and translate it into actionable requirements.
• Experience owning a product independently: setting priorities, defining scope, making decisions, and driving execution.
• Strong analytical thinking and experience working with data-heavy products, analytics, reporting, or traffic distribution.
• High level of organization, discipline, and ownership, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.
• Confidence in making decisions, asking the right questions, researching unfamiliar areas, and taking responsibility for the final outcome.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with messaging products such as SMS, email, push notifications, marketing automation, or similar platforms.
• Experience with messaging providers, telecom, CPaaS, MarTech, or other integration-heavy products.
• Understanding of deliverability, campaign automation, contact management, or messaging compliance.
• Experience with AI tools and using AI in product development or workflows.
• Experience building internal platforms or products from an early stage.
