Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is expanding its Procurement team across European markets. The role focuses on processing indirect purchase requisitions and creating purchase orders while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates speak French at least B2 and English at communicative B1-B2, with a minimum of one year in procurement or related finance areas. A Bachelor's degree and SAP experience are preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with SAP IT systems (weBuy, SAP ERP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Process and create indirect purchase requisitions across departments and countries.
• Create purchase orders for goods and services from external suppliers.
• Conduct quality checks and audits of procurement requests and documents.
• Support internal stakeholders in creating purchase requisitions.
• Respond to inquiries about procurement processes and procedures.
• Perform Plant Maintenance-related tasks like creating and updating Purchase Info Records.
• Provide training and procurement reporting support to stakeholders.

Tasks & responsibilities

As a Procurement Specialist with French, you will be responsible for:

• Processing and creating indirect purchase requisitions submitted by internal employees across various departments and countries, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements
• Creating purchase orders for goods and services provided by external suppliers
• Conducting quality checks and audits of procurement requests and supporting documentation
• Supporting internal stakeholders in the creation of purchase requisitions
• Responding to inquiries from internal employees regarding procurement processes and procedures
• Performing additional Plant Maintenance-related activities, such as creating and updating Purchase Info Records
• Providing support to stakeholders with training-related requests and procurement reporting

About our future employee

You should speak French (min. B2) and English (communicative B1-B2) and have min. 1 year of experience in a procurement or sourcing position. We are also open for candidates from other Finance areas (especially Order to Cash) if you demonstrate the willingness to learn on the job.

Additionally, we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree
• Customer orientation even in difficult situations and in contact with higher hierarchy levels
• Excellent communication skills
