Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Procurement Processing Specialist to manage indirect requisitions and create direct purchase orders for the DACH markets. You will ensure timely delivery of goods and services while adhering to company standards.

The ideal candidate speaks fluent German (B2) and English (B1–B2) with at least two years in procurement, and holds a bachelor’s degree. SAP ERP and weBuy experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in German at B2 level is required.
• English communication ability at B1–B2 level.
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process indirect purchase requisitions from internal staff across departments and countries.
• Create direct purchase orders for goods and services from external suppliers.
• Perform quality audits of requirements and supporting documentation.
• Support internal partners with Purchase Requisition creation.
• Respond to queries about the procurement process.
• Assist with Plant Maintenance tasks such as Purchase Info Records creation/update.
• Address stakeholder training and reporting requests.
